Training times
At Easton Gymnastic Club we run 10 session of gymnastics per week. These are split over four days of the week Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Within the sessions the gymnasts are split into three different levels of ability and experience:
Introductory
Beginners
Training times: Mondays 4.30-5.30pm, Tuesday 5.00-6.00pm or Friday 4.30-5.30pm
These sessions is set up as six week introductory sessions for
gymnasts just
starting out in the sport. These session are run every six weeks with a fully
paid coach.
Beginners
Training times: Girls Saturday 9.00-10.00am
This session is set up for gymnasts just starting out in the sport and
need more time to develop their skills to be able to move into a higher
session within
the club. These sessions run termly with unpaid coaches.
Intermediate
Training times: Girls Saturday 10.00am-11.00am or
Boys Tuesday 6.30-8.00pm
This session is for more progressive gymnasts, these gymnasts once achieving the correct level will be asked to move into the General Club sessions.
General Club Gymnasts
Training times: Girls Monday & Friday 6.00-7.50pm or
Boys Tuesday 6.30-8.30pm & Friday 6.00-8.50pm
These session is for more developed and younger gymnasts, these gymnasts once achieving the correct level or experienced will be asked to move into the advanced or competition sessions.
Advanced General Club Gymnasts
Training times: Monday 6.00-7.50pm and Friday 6.00-8.50pm
Boys Tuesday 6.30-8.30pm and Friday 6.00-8.50pm
These session is for more experienced, skilled and older gymnasts who are working to display teams or personal goals such as GCES etc...
Competition Gymnasts
Training times: Monday 6.00-7.50pm, Friday 6.00-8.50pm & Saturday 11.00am-1.00pm
Boys Tuesday 6.30-8.30pm, Friday 6.00-8.50pm & Saturday 11.00am-1.00pm
These session is for more skilled and talented gymnasts who could work to competition standard.
Adults
Training times: Friday 8.30-10.00pm
These session is set up for adult gymnasts and late starter (over 14) just starting out in gymnastics or wanting rekindle old ambitions and talents. This session is fun, friendly and open to whatever the gymnasts want to do.
